𝐑𝐎𝐘𝐀𝐋 𝐍𝐎𝐑𝐖𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐀𝐍 𝐍𝐀𝐕𝐘 The Royal Norwegian Navy is the maritime warfare branch of the Norwegian Armed Forces. With roots stretching back to the union period with Denmark, the Navy was formally organized as a modern force in the early 19th century under the authority of the King of Norway. Throughout the centuries, Norwegian sailors have defended the country’s long and rugged coastline, its vital sea lanes, and its access to the North Atlantic. Today, the Royal Norwegian Navy stands watch over one of the longest coastlines in Europe. Though Norway remains officially neutral, growing tensions across the continent have not gone unnoticed. Reports of foreign naval movements in the North Sea and Baltic create unease within naval command. Merchant vessels relay rumors of unidentified warships shadowing trade routes. Communication between districts remains steady but cautious, as every signal is taken seriously.
