Description
The Senate Guard was a division within the Grand Army of the Republic during the Clone Wars in the Star Wars universe. Their primary role was to provide security and protection to members of the Galactic Senate. Taking orders directly from the Office of the Supreme Chancellor, the Senate Guard worked closely with the Jedi Order and the Coruscant Security Force. The Senate Guard was responsible for maintaining order and ensuring the safety of senators, ambassadors, and other high-ranking officials within the Senate and surrounding areas. They were often seen stationed within the Senate Building and played a crucial role in safeguarding the political stability of the Republic. With their iconic red robes and helmets, the Senate Guard members were recognized as a symbol of authority and served as a visible presence in the capital city of Coruscant.
