Description
The "Queen's Lifeguard" was raised in 1618 for Elizabeth Stuart for the Bohemian Revolt. It was created for her because many in England wanted to support the Bohemian Revolt and as Frederick V of the Pfalz wife, she had become Queen of Bohemia. This personal bodyguard was a small troop of horse consisting of gentlemen volunteers and English noblemen.
