🌿 𝐉𝐄 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐑𝐀𝐥 At the Battle of Quatre Bzras the 5th Battalion of National Militia valiantly defended the Gemincourt Farm losing 62% of its original strength that day. Initially driven out by two French regiments, the battalion regrouped north of the farm when the Dutchmen saw the British 28th come to their aid. The 5th Militia, thinking they were going to be reinforced, charged the Farmhouse again and drove the French regiments from the farm's surroundings. The 5th then managed to take up a position south of the farm, where the Prince of Orange joined them. With artillery support, they repulsed the 6th CaC along with a lancer regiment. The Dutch lost and retook the farm another time before eventually being forced to fall back due to a lack of reinforcements.
