Description

The Imperial Praetorium is the regional civil authority of the Aurelian Imperium. Its Prefects govern Aurelia’s districts on behalf of the Archon, administering local government, enforcing Imperial law, and ensuring that each region remains orderly, productive, and loyal to the Crown. Each Prefect exercises authority over the civilian administration of an assigned district. This includes public services, local records, infrastructure priorities, economic coordination, emergency administration, and the implementation of decrees issued by the Imperial Government. The Praetorium coordinates the activities of Imperial institutions operating within each district, but it does not replace their internal command structures. A Prefect may direct regional civil policy and require cooperation from local officials, while Watch, naval, commission, and Protectorate personnel remain subject to their own lawful chains of command.
