𝟕º 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚 𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐚 𝟕º 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 Upon the reorganization of the Mexican Army the 7th Line Cavalry Regiment was raised as a dragoon regiment. Donning red coats and helmets similar to those of other European powers the Mexican cavalry became among the best cavalry in the Americas because of the equestrian culture in many parts of Mexico. The regiment would see active service through out the early and middle 19th centuries defeating a Spanish incursion in central Mexico in 1822 and participating in the Battle of Tampico in 1829. The unit would be renamed the Tampico Regiment in 1833 and would go on to serve in the 1836 Texas Campaign. Enlist into the regiment by joining the communications and pinging an officer. 𝐄𝐒𝐓.
