"Grossherzog" 📌𝐈𝐍𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐌𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 📌 Leibinfanterie-Regiment Nr. 1 was most notably involved in the push into Austria with the Grande Armee in 1809, advancing as far as Hungary. Their most notable engagements include the Battle of Aspern and the Battle of Ebelsberg. Even as one of the most veteran formations in the Baden army, it would lose its status as a life guard regiment in 1812 following a series of reforms. For this representation of the regiment, the elite Grenadiergarde is included as an attached battalion, as it was during the 1809 campaign. 📯 𝐄𝐍𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 📯 Enlistment is voluntary, but to advance to higher level companies requires activity and dedication.
