Founded in 27 BC, The Praetorian Guard act as the military police, intelligence agents and bodyguard of the Princeps Civitatis. Augustus designated the Praetorian Guard as the unrivalled paradigm of the Imperial Army and as his personal security escort. Entrusted with his protection, a praetorian must be a paragon of all disciplines, unrivalled in combat and unparalleled in devotion. To even be considered for recruitment, a legionnaire must first enlist to the Cohortes VigiIum and show extraordinary promise, prowess and talent. Those who are found worthy shall don the prestigious white cloak, beginning a new life in service of the Republic. ᅠᅠ ᅠ ᅠᅠ ᅠ ᅠ ᅠᅠ ᅠ ᅠ ᅠᅠ ᅠOnly in death does their sacred duty end.
