Description
The 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹’𝘀 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲 𝗚𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 (𝗚𝗚𝗛𝗚) operate as a ceremonial cavalry and armoured reconnaissance regiment within the Household Division. The Regiment maintains the mounted traditions of historic Canadian cavalry while integrating modern armoured mobility and reconnaissance doctrine. It provides ceremonial mounted escorts, state processions, and tactical mobile formations in support of official functions. The GGHG represent the fusion of historic cavalry heritage and contemporary operational professionalism.
