Description
After the Third Crusade, the marriage of Richard I of Normaly and Alys of France, united England and France, forming the Imperial House of Ancel. Their firstborn, Henri-Édouard Ancel, became the sole ruler of the "United Kingdoms of England and France." His reign, though brief, marked a golden age of unity between the two nations. Henri-Édouard’s rule saw prosperity, with both kingdoms flourishing under his leadership. As a symbol of his legacy, the Ancel coat of arms was created: a rose with white petals, a red heart in the center, and a cross at its core—a blend of English and French heraldry, representing unity and faith. By the 1940s, the modern sovereign of the House of Ancel, Jean Richard II, stands as the current head of the house, upholding the traditions of his ancestors and the enduring legacy of unity that shaped the Ancel dynasty.
