Description
The 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱 (𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗦𝗢𝗙𝗖𝗢𝗠) conducts classified, high-impact missions in support of Canada’s national security and international stability. CANSOFCOM consists of elite, rapidly deployable units, the command specializes in unconventional warfare, strategic intervention, and sensitive operations in hostile or denied environments. CANSOFCOM's primary function include: • Forces are trained and equipped for no-notice crisis situations and the recovery of hostages. • Conducting surveillance and gathering intelligence to access, understand, and influence operational environments. • Executing short-duration, high-value military actions to seize, destroy, capture, or recover designated targets. • Providing specialized protective services for diplomatic and government personnel. • Training and working with the armed forces of allied nations to enhance their capabilities and support regional security.
