Description

The Marine Corps is the Imperial Aurelian Navy’s expeditionary infantry arm. It provides fleets with ground-combat forces capable of deploying directly from naval vessels, securing strategic objectives, and sustaining operations beyond established Imperial bases. Marines specialize in orbital or aerial insertions, ship-to-ship boarding, port seizures, coastal warfare, and rapid expeditionary deployments. They are trained to fight in environments where conventional army formations cannot arrive quickly or operate without extensive support. The Corps also supplies security detachments for warships, naval installations, arsenals, and transport convoys. These detachments defend vessels against boarding, suppress internal threats, protect command personnel, and conduct inspections or seizures of hostile ships.
