Description

The Naval Operations Corps is the professional operational arm of the Imperial Aurelian Navy. It crews and commands the Navy’s combat vessels, organizes permanent fleet formations, and maintains the personnel, procedures, and readiness required for sustained naval and aerospace warfare. Where FLEETCOM is a theater-level command authority, the Naval Operations Corps is the institution that provides the ships, officers, crews, and established formations placed under that command. The Corps includes the personnel assigned to warships, carriers, patrol vessels, escorts, reconnaissance craft, command ships, and other operational fleet assets. Its officers exercise shipboard and formation command, while its enlisted personnel operate weapons, propulsion systems, sensors, communications, navigation equipment, and damage-control systems.
