Description
After Old Babylon was sacked by the bloodthirsty Hittites, the Kassites, a mountainous nomadic people pledged to rebuild the great city. They adopted Babylonian culture, and proved to be effective administrators and competent military leaders. This has allowed Babylon to flourish into what is surely the greatest city of its' time. A beacon of technology, arts and religion. This has persisted in one of the city's greatest works, the Tower of Bab el One day the Babylonian's hope to walk amongst the God's above us, surely the city is so lucrative and miraculous that its' people deserve their place sitting amongst the God's themselves. As well as this appeal to heaven, the construction of the Hanging Gardens have proved to be a wonderful sight, people from as far away as Egypt have come to gaze upon it, as well as the riches of the city itself. Even with Ninevah in the north rapidly growing to become a cultural hub of Mesopotamia, Babylon still sits ontop of all, the King of Civilization.
