The Hittite Empireᅠ #10261990
Description
The enormous Hittite state stands in a volatile position. To its west lays Mycenaean Civilization, the first of the Ancient Greeks. These people for now seem far more interested in petty family disputes with the City of Troy, though interests of Hattusa and the Greeks seem likely to converge on the city, as the empire fuels its thirst for conquest, undoubtedly resulting in a bloody conflict between the two powers. In Mesopotamia stands the Assyrian Empire, Hattusa has recently come into tense conflict with the Assyrians, with Mesopotamian dominance laying in the balance. To the south lays the empire's greatest rival - Egypt. The Pharaoh and his men will surely employ any strategies to weaken the grand Hittite Empire, especially for control over Hattusa's autonomous client kingdom, Cyprus. Hattusa will surely have to adapt their warfare to match and outpace the Egyptians, or risk losing their holdings in the Levant entirely.
