Description
The Archon’s Shield is the personal protection arm of the Imperial Protectorate of Aurelia. Its sole central duty is the direct security of the Archon, wherever the sovereign travels, governs, appears in public, or faces danger. The Shield conducts close-protection details, route security, advance inspections, emergency extraction, secure transport, audience protection, and coordination with other institutions whenever the Archon enters their jurisdiction. It may work with the Iron Guard inside the palace, the City Watch within Valdrik, or naval security during travel, but responsibility for the Archon’s immediate safety remains with the Shield.
