Description

The Security Department The Security Department of Site-944 — Centauri Bastion serves as the fortress’s first and last line of defense against both internal disorder and extra-solar threats. Stationed four light years from Earth, its members carry the dual responsibility of safeguarding Foundation personnel and containing anomalies that operate far outside known human parameters. Beyond routine patrols and Class-D oversight, Bastion Security specializes in rapid breach response, hostile anomaly engagement, and deep-space perimeter defence. Operatives are trained not only in combat and tactical doctrine, but in the management of cognitohazards, non-terrestrial entities, and phenomena capable of destabilizing entire sectors of the site. To serve in the Security Department is to accept isolation, high mortality risk, and the constant presence of the anomalous. Yet it is also to stand as humanity’s shield on the edge of the unknown — ensuring that Earth never faces what lies beyond.
