Harrison Auto Services #1099776207
Description
The Harrison General Store, now Harrison Auto Services, was established in August of 1852, by Joseph Clark, as a grocery and general store in the Village of Harrison. Following Clark’s passing in February of 1866, ownership was transferred to his son, Everett Clark, under whose leadership the store benefited from the growth brought on by the introduction of buggy and cart services. With the rise of the widespread availability of automobiles, the business underwent a major transition, rebranding into Harrison Auto Services in June of 1914, shifting its focus to automotive services. In the years following, the first tow truck was acquired, allowing the business to broaden its services into vehicle recovery and towing. Today, Harrison Auto Services continues to serve as an auto services, towing, and recovery company in Cascade County, specializing in automotive repair, towing, recovery, and related services throughout Cascade County, holding various government contracts.
